Specialised in liquid nutritional supplements for supporting animal health and preventing the use of antibiotics, we improve your business profits. Kanters develops, produces and markets nutritional supplements, cleaning and disinfection agents for (water) pipelines, chickpaper and hoofcare products.
All products are produced under GMP and HACCP standards in our state of art factory and are tested in research facilities to guarantee safe products of excellent quality. This is acknowledged worldwide by satisfied farmers and integrators who benefit of the results daily.
History
In the early 1980’s Kanters started as a broiler farm. This farm was one of the first to have a computerised management information system installed. This enabled Kanters to collect daily technical data and analyse bird performance very accurately. Because the Kanters farm was one of the few farms at that time where such information could be collected, many companies from the industry came to the farm to conduct trials. Kanters used the information from these trials as a basis for its own product development.
Main focus
Today Kanters mainly focuses on drinking water hygiene and liquid nutritional products which can be administered via drinking water. Animals drink at least twice as much as they eat, so water is the main nutrient consumed every day. Additionally, when an animal is ill or stressed, it stops eating but will continue drinking. Therefore water is the perfect medium to support animal health with nutrients during insufficient feed intake. By focussing on the (drinking) water, Kanters can support the animals in difficult periods.

Quality - GMP-HACCP
Kanters Special Products is GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified. The GMP standard also involves the approach taken by the HACCP (Hazard Analyses of Critical Control Points) system. This includes the analysis of all links in the production process with the identifications and documentation to product quality and safety. All possible risks for product quality and safety are adequately controlled by means of prescribed procedures and instructions.
